- Goat Cheese – I love the bright, salty flavor of adding plain chevre goat cheese to my pizza. It’s especially great when baked, becoming creamy and delicious. It pairs nicely with sweet and salty flavors, making it perfect for this pizza.
- Pizza Dough – I make my own (recipe here!) , but you can buy it premade from the store OR pick it up from your local pizza place.
- Pizza Sauce – You can use any store-bought pizza sauce, or just plain marinara sauce. I like making my own from tomato paste and a few simple ingredients like olive oil, garlic and Italian herbs.
- Caramelized Onions – I sauté some onions with olive oil and a splash of Worcestershire sauce which caramelizes them in about 15 minutes.
- Pears
- Raw Honey: We use our own honey, straight out of the beehives! As beekeepers, we have plenty of raw honey so I try to use it in all my recipes instead of sugar. I’d recommend trying a local farmers market to find the best raw honey in your area. Or else, this raw organic honey online here is the next best thing.
- Other toppings of your choice: Thyme, Basil, Mozzarella
