We are in the dog days of summer here in New England, and I wanted to make a twist on homemade lemonade! We have been enjoying so much coconut water lately, as it naturally contains electrolytes so it’s a perfect alternative to sports drinks. It’s a great way to get minerals like potassium, sodium, and manganese naturally! Plus, it tastes amazing.
While I love drinking coconut water plain, I couldn’t resist jazzing it up a bit and turning it into a delicious lemonade. This is a perfect drink to serve over ice on a hot summer day, so get out your lemon squeezer and enjoy!
