This gluten free pie crust recipe is a simple treat to make without the wheat. I’m all about making recipes gluten free when I can. This almond flour pie crust recipe is a fantastic pantry-staple meal!  It uses almost all ingredients you would have in your dry pantry or cupboards – most of which you probably have on hand. Keeping a well-stocked pantry makes it easy to come up with delicious and easy meals using a few staples you can rotate.

How Do I Make Low Carb Pie Crust with Almond Flour?

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix almond flour and salt in a bowl. Add eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until a crumbly dough forms.
  3. In a pie dish, press the dough into the the bottom the dish, and around the sides of the dish, with your fingers.
  4. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until golden browned, remove from oven.

  • 2 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Mix almond flour and salt in a bowl. Add eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until a crumbly dough forms.
  • In a pie dish, press the dough into the the bottom the dish, and around the sides of the dish, with your fingers.
  • Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until golden browned, remove from oven. If adding filling, fill the crust and bake again for the filling.
