It’s officially summer, and nothing is more refreshing on a hot day than a large bowl of fruit salad sprinkled with Tajin seasoning. Tajin is a fantastic chili lime spice that makes the great flavors in this fruit salad pop. It just has chili, lime, and salt as ingredients (and is gluten free/vegan) so it’s a simple addition to this salad.
Tajin is a fantastic Mexican chili lime spice that tastes great on just about everything. I first had Tajin and fruit when I lived in California, and it was always my go-to snack. This is a great fruit salad to bring to a summer BBQ, cookout, or potluck, and it’s always a crowd-pleaser!

What’s In This Tajin Fruit Salad Recipe?
Be sure to visit the recipe card below for full ingredient amounts and recipe instructions!
- Tajin – my favorite chili lime seasoning! It’s great on fruit (like this salad), tofu, chicken, or tacos. It just has chili, salt, and lime – that’s it!
- Mango – delicious, juicy, ripe, in-season mangoes are perfect for this fruit salad.
- Pineapple
- Kiwi – a wonderfully tangy and sweet addition.
- Peaches – great for slicing or cubing in this fruit salad
- Papaya – another fantastic tropical fruit that is so good with this lime and chili seasoning. These can be difficult to find in store, so if you can’t find papaya, then I would recommend adding another mango to the mix!
- Lime Juice – for a little extra kick of flavor.
How Do I Make Fruit Salad with Tajin?
- Prep the fruit – peel and dice your mango, slice your peaches, remove the seeds from the papaya and dice the inside flesh, core and dice your pineapple, and peel and slice your kiwi.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped and sliced fruit. Squeeze in the fresh lime juice, and the 1/2 teaspoon of Tajin seasoning. Mix well to combine.
- Refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving. Sprinkle on additional Tajin seasoning to garnish. Enjoy!
