I love green smoothies so much, and this fantastic lean green smoothie recipe is an awesome way to start the day!  This recipe is perfect because it’s not too sweet, it has just the right combination of fruits and veggies.

I like blending better than juicing because of the awesome fiber you get from the fruits and vegetables.  The fiber keeps the smoothie thicker, and fiber has been proven to keep you fuller longer. Stay satisfied with this delicious smoothie made with fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables.

This no-cook lean green smoothie is a quick and simple recipe.  I love a good no-cook recipe for those days when I’m not feeling like standing around the stove, or for summer days when it’s too hot to cook. I’ve owned a lot of blenders, but my Vitamix is definitely the best one I’ve owned. This high-speed blender will blend even the toughest of ingredients into pulp.  I prefer using my blender for recipes like this, as it’s much easier to clean the Vitamix. This is definitely one kitchen appliance we use on a daily basis!

How Do I Make This Raw Vegan Breakfast Smoothie Recipe?

I use this Vitamix Blender for all my smoothies , it can blend anything… no seriously, anything! I like adding whole oranges or lemons to smoothies, and you can’t taste any peel, seeds, or pulp.

Blend all ingredients on high speed until you get a smooth consistency. Pour into your favorite glass or mason jar and enjoy.

Equipment

  • Vitamix or High Speed Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups fresh kale
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender
  • Start by blending on low speed, the increase to high speed until the smoothie is completely blended.
  • Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
