The Best Blender Garlic Sauce

You can make this creamy garlic sauce recipe in a blender or a food processor.

I recommend using a good-quality high speed blender for this recipe. I have a fantastic Vitamix blender, which I have been using for years, and it gets daily use in our home.

Choose a blender that has a lot of power, and can pulverize even the toughest of ingredients. My blender can chop ice, dates, frozen fruits, make soups, and even blend nuts into homemade nut butter. Using a good high-speed blender will make perfectly creamy smoothies and sauces every time!

A Creamy Plant-Based Garlic Recipe That’s Perfect for Summer

This no-cook garlic sauce is a quick and simple recipe. No heat needed for this fantastic dipping sauce.  This vegan cream sauce comes together in about 5 minutes, and doesn’t require the stove or microwave to make. Add all ingredients to a small bowl or blender, and mix well!

Just use a few pantry staple ingredients, a few fresh chopped herbs and veggies, and you have a creamy sauce just waiting for your plate!

What’s In This Creamy Vegan Garlic Sauce Recipe?

Only a few simple ingredients are needed to give this sauce a creamy texture and fantastic flavor!

  • A creamy base – you can use vegan mayo, vegan sour cream, silken tofu, or a quick cashew cream made out of raw cashews soaked in hot water.
  • Fresh Garlic – Use fresh cloves of garlic, or garlic powder if desired.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon Juice
  • Sea salt & Black Pepper 
  • Fresh Dill

Other Optional Add-Ins

  • Nutritional Yeast can give the sauce a more cheesy flavor.
  • Add melted vegan butter for a richer sauce.
  • Throw in a handful or fresh herbs at the end like fresh dill, fresh parsley, or basil.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicier sauce.
  • Add to a baked potato for an extra flavor boost!

How Do I Make This Vegan Garlic Sauce for Kebab?

  1. In a blender, add the tofu, garlic cloves, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend on low speed until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Add the garlic sauce to a bowl, and stir on the fresh dill and the green onions. Add a little green onion to garnish and enjoy!
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 ounce package silken tofu
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill optional

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, add the tofu, garlic cloves, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth
  • Pour tofu mixture into a bowl, and stir in the dill. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve on shawarma, as a dip, on pita, or with falafel!
