I absolutely love almond milk, especially when it’s made fresh from all natural ingredients. This Honey Almond Milk recipe is made with raw honey (from our beehives!), raw unsalted almonds, and a few simple pantry spices. As a beekeeper, we always have honey around and I love adding it to recipes for a naturally sweet flavor.

This easy almond milk recipe is great to add to your coffees, teas, lattes, flat whites, cold brews, or any sweet recipe that you’d use normal milk in.

What’s In This Honey Vanilla Almond Milk Recipe?

  • Almonds: these giant bags of almonds are a great value from Amazon – they are raw and unsalted so they are perfect to add to breakfasts, oats, or make your own almond milk!
  • Vanilla Extract: it’s super important to use real pure vanilla extract, and not artificial baking vanilla flavor. This real all natural vanilla is a fantastic ingredient to give these cookies an extra boost.
  • Raw Honey: We use our own honey, straight out of the beehives for us!  As beekeepers, we have plenty of raw honey so I try to use it in all my recipes instead of sugar.  I’d recommend trying a local farmers market to find the best raw honey in your area. Or else, this raw organic honey online here is the next best thing.
  • Sea Salt
  • Cinnamon: which gives this almond milk a subtle spice-y flavor!  I love to add a pinch for a really nice depth to this drink.
  • Nut Milk Bag or fine mesh strainer, or cheesecloth.

Is There a Vegan Alternative to Honey?

Yes, you can substitute out the honey in this recipe for agave nectar or maple syrup. I prefer agave nectar, it’s my go-to kitchen sweetener because it’s absolutely delicious, and buying organic agave is inexpensive (compared to other organic sweeteners).  It also bakes well, so I like to add it to my baked goods.
