An Easy Work From Home Snack!

I first made these wraps while grabbing a late breakfast in between meetings.  I was searching through the cabinets for some bread for peanut butter toast, and found the tortillas instead.  Add banana, a few favorite crunchy peanuts, and voila!

This snack is great because of how quick you can make it: 2 minutes to snack time.  Perfect for those back to back Zoom calls.  Also there is no cooking, heating, or baking required.

What’s In This Peanut Butter Banana Wrap?

Be sure to visit the recipe card below for full ingredient amounts and recipe instructions!

  • Banana
  • Peanut Butter: or you can substitute an almond or cashew butter instead. Like my peanuts, I only use unsalted peanut butter to keep it tasty.
  • Lightly Salted Peanuts: for a yummy, nutty crunch!  I like to use only unsalted or lightly salted peanuts when I cook. Lightly salted peanuts won’t alter the taste of my recipes, which I prefer.  I will always choose a lower sodium option if available!
  • Tortilla or Wrap of your choice: I found that these gluten free almond wraps fit the banana perfectly, but you can use whatever you have on hand!
  • Cinnamon: which gives this wrap a subtle spice-y flavor!  I love to add in a pinch for extra warmth and depth of flavor.
  • Sesame Seeds – I love adding a handful of these sesame seeds to finish off this wrap! These seeds add a nice crunch and light flavor.

This would also be great with a few fun “extras” thrown in the wrap as well.  Chocolate chips, crushed walnuts, or sprinkles make this a fun dessert or treat.  Or heat slightly in the oven, and scoop some ice cream on top, banana split style.

How Do I Make These Banana Peanut Butter Wraps?

This is pretty self-explanatory!  Just make these like you would any tortilla roll-up:
  1. Place the tortilla on a plate. Spread the peanut butter on the tortilla to cover in an even layer.
  2. Peel the banana and place towards the top of the tortilla.
  3. Wrap so the banana is covered by the tortilla.
  4. Cut in half for a wrap, or slice into bit sized pieces for smaller bites.

A No-Cook Tortilla Wrap Recipe That’s Perfect for Summer

This wrap comes together in about 5 minutes, and doesn’t require the stove or microwave to make. Just use a few pantry staple ingredients and you have a wholesome meal ready in no time.  And very little to clean up afterwards… an added bonus!
