What’s In This Apple Cider Vinaigrette?
I cook with fresh produce from my garden and from Misfits Market– they sell fantastic fruit, vegetables, & pantry staples at a discounted price. We get Misfit boxes every other week and love picking out favorite produce for delivery. Get $10 off your first box here!
- Apple Cider Vinegar, which gives this dressing a little extra tang which is really fantastic! I love using this organic apple cider vinegar with the mother which has a great flavor. I think it gives a nice extra sweetness and depth.
- Granulated Sugar: I like this organic sugar for my recipes, and I’d recommend Anthony’s organic sugar for a lot of pantry staple ingredients.
- Pink Himalayan Sea Salt: I like to use a pink Himalayan Sea Salt.
- Raw Garlic
- Olive Oil: I like to use this fruity olive oil which has a fantastic flavor and deep color- it’s really inexpensive online here, so I keep a few liters stocked up in my pantry. For the quality of oil you get, it’s an excellent value, I would highly recommend!
- Safflower Oil – a very light oil which is high oleic, this safflower oil gives this dressing a great texture when blended with the olive oil.
- Pint Sized Mason Jars – I like these wide mouth pints to make all my salad dressings in – I love adding all ingredients to the jar, sealing the air tight lid, and shaking for about 30 seconds. It’s easier (and way less messy) than using a bowl.
