I love green smoothies so much, and this fantastic lean green smoothie recipe is an awesome way to start the day!  This recipe is perfect because it’s not too sweet, it has just the right combination of fruits and veggies.

I like blending better than juicing because of the fiber you get from the fruits and vegetables.  This blend is a great combo veggies, and so flavorful.

I recommend using a good-quality high speed blender for this recipe. I have a fantastic Vitamix blender, which I have been using for years, and it gets daily use in our home.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups fresh kale
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender
  • Start by blending on low speed, the increase to high speed until the smoothie is completely blended.
  • Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
