One of the Best Cinnamon Whiskey Cocktails
This cocktail was inspired by my husband this week – we had a large gallon of apple cider that we hadn’t drank yet, so we decided to heat it up on the stove top. He suggested it would make a great mixer, so I went over to our liquor cabinet and found the cinnamon whiskey and voila!
A perfect pairing, this was one festive holiday drink. Definitely one to keep on hand for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any evening when you want a cozy drink.

Ingredients You’ll Need
Be sure to visit the recipe card below for full ingredient amounts and recipe instructions!
- Apple Cider – I used a local fresh-pressed apple cider as the base for this drink.
- Cinnamon Whiskey – like Fireball or a similar brand.
- Cinnamon sticks – I used organic ones that I got at the store. They make a nice garnish and aor gorgeous served in each glass.
This recipe is pretty sweet (to my taste) so it makes a really nice sipping drink. If you want yours less sweet, then I’d recommend halving the cider to 4 ounces, and replacing the remaining 4 ounces with hot water. That way you get most of the apple flavor, but not all of the sugar.
Additions and Substitutions
You could use apple juice in this recipe instead of apple cider. Feel free to use a bottled or pre-made cider if you can’t find fresh.
You could also use ground cinnamon instead of fresh cinnamon sticks.

How To Make This Recipe
