This sourdough garlic bread in the oven is made with fresh crusty sliced sourdough, fresh garlic, spices, and olive oil for the perfect side dish! This bread is ready in less than 10 minutes, and made with pantry staple ingredients for a great side for pasta night. Vegan, dairy free, and can be made gluten free by using GF bread.

Instructions
Place sliced bread on an baking sheet or oven-safe plate. Set aside.
In a ramekin or small dish, combine the olive oil, chopped garlic, garlic powder, garlic salt, and chili flakes. Stir well, and brush one side of the bread with the olive oil and garlic mixture, until all slices of bread are coated in the olive oil mixture.
Place the bread in the oven and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until your bread becomes toasted to a light brown color. Always watch your food in the broiler as it can burn bread easily if you aren't paying attention. I find that 4 minutes is perfect for my broiler, but all ovens are different so keep a close eye so your garlic bread doesn't burn.
Once toasted, remove garlic bread from the oven. Top with fresh chopped parsley and more chili flakes, if desired. Enjoy!
