Homemade Oat Milk Recipe

    Instructions

    • Make the oat milk: in a blender, add the One Degree Organic Sprouted Rolled Oats and water.  Allow the oats to soak for 10 minutes.  Blend on high speed for 1 minute. Drain the oat milk slowly through a nut milk bag. Do not squeeze the oat milk through the bag, or else the oat milk can become slimy. Allow it to filter naturally, without applied pressure.
    • Make the tea. Boil the remaining 6 cups of water for the tea, steep your tea bags for 5 to 10 minutes.  Add the natural sweetener to the tea. Allow the tea to cool.
    • Cook the tapioca pearls: bring a small pot of water to a boil, and add the tapioca pearls to the pot. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes until the pearls become a dark black color and are cooked all the way through. Test one pearl to make sure it's done. Rinse under cold water, and drain.
    • Make the tea: add the cooked pearls to the bottom of a glass, add 1.5 cups of the steeped tea, and pour in the 1/2 cup oat milk to top.  Add an extra wide straw for the boba pearls.  Taste and add more sweetener if desired... enjoy!
