Rice Cooker Oatmeal is an easy & nutritious breakfast recipe, a filling one-pot morning meal loaded with fruit and spices. This hearty breakfast is customizable with your favorite seasonal fruit. Add all the ingredients to the rice cooker, press a button, and breakfast is ready in minutes.

  • Rice Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats not quick or instant oats
  • 1 cup fruit finely chopped, I used one large apple
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • Pinch Sea Salt

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to rice cooker, and stir well to combine.
  • Set Rice Cooker on 'Porridge' or 'Rice' or 'Quick Cook' mode (which ever your rice cooker model has). Oatmeal should cook for about 30 minutes. Once you've selected your mode, press Start.
  • Once the oatmeal is finished cooking, test and adjust seasoning as needed, adding extra agave or cinnamon as desired.
