Lemon and Chia Water
This Lemon and Chia Seed Water recipe will help you refresh and hydrate - AND has 4g fiber and 2g protein per serving, plus good-for-you omega 3 acids! This is a fantastic drink to enjoy before a meal, and tastes great.

Ingredients

tablespoon
chia seeds
2
cups
water
either warm or cold
2
slices
lemon
1
teaspoon
pure maple syrup
optional
Instructions
In a mason jar or large glass add the chia seeds, water, and agave if using. Squeeze lemon slices in the drink, and add the peels to the jar to steep.
Stir once a minute for 5 minutes until the chia seeds have plumped.
Discard the lemon peels (we compost them), and enjoy!
