Ingredients

gin or vodka

grapefruit

tablespoons
simple syrup

fresh lime juice

seltzer to top
Instructions
In a tumbler, add the gin or vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, lime juice, and ice.
Shake well, pour into a glass over ice. Add in the float of selzer and serve with a lime garnish.
Notes
A Note on Simple Syrup
To make your own simple syrup, heat 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar, and stir until sugar dissolves.
