Gin and Lime Cocktail (Gimlet)
My classic gin lime gimlet cocktail is perfect for entertaining, parties, or summer BBQs. Easy to make a big batch for a party, or just one for a Friday night.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin
- 1.5 ounces Rose's Lime Syrup *See note below for homemade
- 4 ounces Seltzer or more/less to taste
- 1 Fresh lime
Instructions
- Fill a glass to the top with ice
- Add the gin, lime syrup, and seltzer. Stir well to combine.
- Top with fresh-squeezed lime juice or a lime wedge to garnish. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Use Rose's Lime Syrup, or make your own - I have a great recipe for homemade Rose's Lime Juice, one of the ingredients in this gimlet. You can find Rose's Lime Cordial Syrup in the grocery or liquor store, but it is easy to make your own version. This DIY version has just water, sugar, and lime.
