This  arugula smoothie recipe is a bright fresh way to start the day- with greens and fruit blended for a refreshing breakfast. This fantastic smoothie is a great way to rise and shine!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 orange
  • 2 dates
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds optional

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
  • Blend on low, and increase speed until all fruit/dates/ice chunks are blended and the smoothie is a creamy consistency.
  • Pour into your favorite glass, sit back, and enjoy!
