Instant Pot Buckwheat Groats

This Instant Pot buckwheat groats recipe is a fantastic and simple way to pressure cook groats to add to breakfast bowls, oatmeal, or for baking! Just cook groats and water together for a few minutes, quick release, and serve for breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup buckwheat groats
  • 1.5 cups water
  • Optional toppings: almond milk fruit, nuts, cinnamon, or butter

Instructions
 

  • To the inner pot of the Instant Pot, add the buckwheat groats and water. Stir well to combine.
  • Seal the lid, and set the Instant pot to Pressure Cook/Manual mode. Cook for 8 minutes. Once finished, allow the groats to naturally release for 5 minutes, then release the remainder of the pressure manually.
  • Fluff groats with a fork. Stir in optional sides: almond milk, fruit, nuts, cinnamon, or butter, and enjoy!
