This cheesecake with sour cream recipe is a creamy & decadent dessert, which is so simple to make! A sweet and delicious filling on a graham cracker crust, topped with your favorite fruit or berries.
Remove cream cheese from refrigerator so it comes to room temperature.
When softened, preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large mixing bowl (or stand mixer), add the cheesecake ingredients: sour cream, softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and the lemon zest. Whisk until well combined, and there are no lumps in the filling. Add the filling to a 9-inch pie crust.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the cheesecake, and allow to cook for 15 minutes.
Prepare the topping: mix the sour cream, sugar, vanilla together in a bowl. Pour it on top of the cheesecake and bake for another 15 minutes.
