Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temprature
  • 1 14 ounce can low sodium black beans drained
  • 1/3 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar plus extra for topping
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Remove cream cheese from fridge and allow to soften on the counter.
  • In a medium saucepan heat black beans, salsa, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chili powder over low heat. Cook for 7 or 8 minutes until cheese is melty and begins to bubble.
  • Place dip in a bowl and top with chopped green onions, chili flakes, and more cheddar as desired.  Serve with chips, nachos, or veggie sticks, and enjoy!
