Place slices of bread on a sheet pan, and place in the oven. Broil the bread over low heat until it is crispy and toasted on each side (my oven is about 2-3 minutes each side). Always watch the bread as your broil it so it doesn’t burn. Peel the clove of garlic, and rub it on the surface of the toast... the garlic will begin to disintegrate and leave delicious flavor on your bread.
In a large bowl, mash the avocado, lemon juice, garlic powder, Herbs de Provence, and chili flakes.
Top each slice of oven-toasted bread with half the avocado mixture, and drizzle each slice with olive oil, honey, and fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!
