This warm spiked apple cider recipe is one of the BEST holiday cocktail recipes around. This sweet cinnamon drink is a perfect nightcap or after-dinner drink. A fantastic beverage to warm you up after being out in the snow - made with cinnamon whiskey and fresh pressed cider.
In a saucepan, heat the apple cider and cinnamon stick together until warm.
Pour cinnamon whiskey into 2 serving glasses and top with the warm apple cider.
Garnish with cinnamon sticks, and enjoy!

A Note on SweetnessThis recipe is pretty sweet (to my taste) so it makes a really nice sipping drink. If you want yours less sweet, then I'd recommend halving the cider to 4 ounces, and replacing the remaining 4 ounces with water. That way you get most of the flavor, but not all of the sugar.Additions and SubstitutionsYou could use apple juice in this recipe instead of apple cider. Feel free to use a bottled or pre-made cider if you can't find fresh.You could also use ground cinnamon instead of fresh cinnamon sticks.
