DIY Homemade Beeswax Lip Balm
My Homemade Beeswax Lip Balm recipe is so easy and makes about 75 tubes of all-natural lip moisturizer. Great for easy DIY homemade holiday gifts or stocking stuffers!
- 190 grams beeswax
- 90 grams cocoa butter
- 175 grams sunflower oil about 1 cup
- 30 drops vitamin E oil
- 10 drops Rosemary essential oil
- 40 drops peppermint oil
- 5 drop lanolin
In a double boiler (fill a medium sauce pan with water, bring to a boil, and place a large glass bowl on top), add the beeswax and cocoa butter. The steam from the double boiler will melt the wax and cocoa butter. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
Once melted, add the rest of the ingredients and wisk together until well combined.
Follow the instructions on your lip balm kit (if using) to fill the tubes, or fill tubes or tins with a tincture dropper. Allow the beeswax lip balm to dry completely in the tubes before moving. Enjoy!
