Cut bread into desired serving portions: I like thin slices for a traditional round boule loaf, and I like to cut a baguette in half lengthwise.
In a small dish or jar, add the olive oil, raw garlic, garlic powder, and mix well to combine.
Using a basting brush, cover the face up bread with the olive oil/garlic mixture. Ensure that every nook and cranny of the bread has garlic.
Place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes, and check. Each oven’s broiler is different, so be very careful not to burn your garlic bread. Make sure it is crisp and beginning to brown at the edges, not harden and blacken.
Remove garlic bread from oven, and sprinkle the top with crushed red pepper flakes, paprika, and salt.
