This blood orange salad recipe is made with mixed greens, bright fresh blood oranges, and savory walnuts and sunflower seeds. It's a great vegan and dairy free winter salad, which is a little sweet & a little savory!

For the Salad 5 ounces spring mix salad 2 blood oranges peeled 1/3 cup walnuts 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds 1 teaspoon hemp hearts For the Dressing 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup sunflower oil 1/4 cup blood orange juice about 1 small orange, squeezed 1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1 clove garlic minced Pinch Sea Salt

Wash and dry greens. Place in a large serving bowl.
Add the blood oranges to top, along with the walnuts, sunflower seeds, and hemp hearts.
To make the blood orange dressing, combine all ingredients in a mason jar, secure lid, and shake well to combine.
Pour dressing over salad, and enjoy!
