Instructions
In a pan, heat the garlic and butter together until garlic has softened. Add the cooked lobster meat and gently warm.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, celery, chives, and black pepper. Add the lobster, draining the excess butter and leaving it in the pan.
Toast the New England split top buns in the broiler for 1 minute until they are lightly browned.
To assemble the lobster rolls: Open one toasted bun, place a leaf of green lettuce in the middle, and add a few scoops of the lobster mixture on top of the lettuce. Drizzle with extra warm garlic butter and a dash of Tabasco, if desired.
