1cupmilkyou can choose any variety (whole, 2%, half & half)
1/4cupsour cream
4tablespoonsbutter
1teaspoongarlic powder
sea salt and black pepperto taste
Instructions
Add the diced potatoes and the water to the Instant Pot. Set on High or Manual for 8 minutes.
Once finished cooking, do a quick release. Keep the Instant Pot on ‘warm’ setting for the next few steps. Drain the water from the potatoes, and place the potatoes back in the Instant Pot.
Stir in the milk, butter, sour cream, and garlic powder.
Using a potato masher, whip until there are no more lumps in the potatoes.
Taste and adjust seasonings, adding salt and pepper if desired.
