This Strawberry Matcha Smoothie is a healthy & fresh breakfast drink - dairy free & high in protein! Rise & shine with a big glass of berries, green tea matcha powder, and a few added ingredients to make this a filling breakfast or snack. This smoothie can be made with fresh or frozen strawberries, and is great if you have ripe bananas you need to use. Pour yourself a tall glass of this beautiful green tea smoothie, and kick start your day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 2 cups plain unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup spinach or other greens
  • 1.5 cup ice
  • 1 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Starting on low speed and working up to high, blend for 2-3 minutes until you get a smooth consistency.
  • Pour into your favorite glass or mason jar and enjoy.
