Ingredients

  • 4 ounces burrata cheese
  • 4 large tomatoes sliced
  • 1/2 cup Castelvetrano olives
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon tellicherry black pepper

Instructions

  • Drain the burrata and place in the center of a large plate.
  • Slice tomatoes, and arrange them around the burrata.  I used a mix of on-vine and cherry tomatoes for color - but pick the sweetest and most in-season tomatoes.
  • arrange the Castelvetrano olives around the tomatoes and cheese, and top with fresh basil.
  • Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad and crack fresh black pepper over the salad.
  • Serve immediately, and enjoy!
