This Island Green Smoothie recipe is a healthy fresh way to start the day- with pineapple, banana, oranges, spinach and coconut for a refreshing healthy breakfast. This fruity tropical smoothie will bring the vacation vibes straight to your table. This 5 minute blender breakfast recipe is a great low calorie breakfast option, and can be made high protein with a scoop of protein powder. It's vegan, gluten free, and dairy free!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup kale or spinach you can use the leaves and stems
  • 1 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 large orange peeled
  • 1 cup mango
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 1.5 cup ice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
  • Blend on low, and increase speed until all greens/fruit/ice chunks are blended and the smoothie is a creamy consistency.
  • Pour into your favorite glass, sit back, and enjoy!
