- 1 medium head red cabbage shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup raw honey or other natural sweetener
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

In a large pot, add the shredded cabbage and olive oil. Heat over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until cabbage has begun to wilt.
Add the apple juice, raw honey, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir well to combine.
Cover the pot, and heat on low for about 30 minutes until cabbage is cooked through.
- We try to cook as low sodium as possible, so you can add additional salt or pepper to suit your tastes.
- Same with the sweetness: if you need more sweetness, add more honey or apple juice.
