Air Fryer Bok Choy

This air fryer bok choy recipe with honey sesame sauce makes a delicious side dish, seasoned to perfection. Serve with dinner, this recipe is a great way to use up extra bok choy from the market.  Air fry bok choy for a great side dish, totally irresistible! Ready in just 10 minutes start to finish, they are great to enjoy on their own, or with a side of honey sesame dipping sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium baby bok choy
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce or gluten free alternative
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Chop the baby bok choy. I cut each bok choy in half vertically, then vertically again through each half. I like to keep the base of the stem in tact which keeps the bok choy pieces together.
  • In a bowl, mix the bok choy quarters, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and honey.  Toss well to combine.
  • Place the bok choy in the air fryer basket (or air fryer rack, depending on your model).
  • Set air fryer to 380 degrees, and cook for 8 minutes.  Halfway through cooking, shake well.
  • Once peppers have finished cooking, add sesame seeds on top and serve hot!  You can keep the bok choy stems in tact for presentation, or trim the base/stem off before serving.
