This kale avocado smoothie recipe is a bright and fresh breakfast idea, loaded with fruit & plant-based protein. This delicious tropical smoothie will let you rise and shine- it's a fantastic way to start the day. This 5 minute blender breakfast recipe is a great low calorie breakfast option, and is in high protein by adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup kale you can use the leaves and stems
  • 1/2 avocado peeled
  • 1 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder I use a vegan version
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
  • Blend on low, and increase speed until all greens/fruit/ice chunks are blended and the smoothie is a creamy consistency.
  • Pour into your favorite glass, sit back, and enjoy!
