This Honey Ricotta Spread is the ultimate sweet and savory breakfast recipe! Ready in 5 minutes, creamy, delicious, and satisfying enough to keep you full until lunch.  This sweet honey ricotta toast is the ultimate luxurious breakfast plate, topped with luscious raw honey and creamy ricotta. Vegetarian, gluten free, and can easily be made vegan!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread use gluten free
  • 1/2 cup ricotta see Notes below for a vegan ricotta
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Sea Salt

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread under the broiler for 3 minutes preside, or in a toaster.
  • In a small bowl, add the ricotta, honey, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine
  • Spread each toast piece with ricotta mixture in a thick layer.
  • Add an extra drizzle of honey or cinnamon on top for garnish.
  • Top with a sprinkle of sea salt and enjoy!

Notes

Vegan Ricotta Recipe

  • 1 12-ounce block silken tofu
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar
  • Pinch of Salt 
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor, and combine until smooth.
