A No-Cook Salad Dressing Recipe That’s Perfect for Summer
This no-cook lemon tahini is a quick and simple recipe. I love a good no-cook recipe for those days when I’m not feeling like standing around the stove, or for summer nights when it’s too hot to cook. Just use a few pantry staple ingredients and you have a tasty dressing ready in no time. And very little to clean up afterwards… an added bonus!
Ingredients in this Creamy Vegan Lemon Dressing
- Tahini: A fantastic and flavorful spread made from ground sesame seeds. This tahini is fantastic in any dish, we absolutely love this tahini!
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Fresh garlic cloves
- Maple syrup
- Sea salt & black pepper
- Fresh Parsley

How Do I Make Homemade Tahini Dressing?
- Combine all ingredients in a mason jar, and seal with an airtight lid. Shake well for 2 minutes until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Pour dressing over salad, roasted root vegetables, or a Buddha bowl… Enjoy!
Dietary Modifications
- This dressing is vegan, vegetarian and dairy free! The creaminess comes from the tahini which is just a butter made from sesame seeds!
- This dressing is gluten free and contains no wheat products.
- Lemon tahini dressing is also nut free, as it’s made from sesame seeds and not nuts.
- To make this dressing oil free, substitute out the olive oil for water… the texture should work just fine.
- This dressing is also refined sugar free, as the sweetness comes naturally from agave!
