Dietary Modifications
- To make these cookie bars gluten free, just make sure to use a gluten-free flour or baking mix. Also make sure the chocolate candies do not contain gluten.
- To make these vegan, use a plant-based butter and egg substitute. I like to use a flax egg (1 tablespoon flax seed meal mixed with 1 tablespoon water) or apple sauce instead of the egg.
