This Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing is rich and decadent, and will make you want to eat any salad or vegetable you dress it with! Made with sour cream, mayo, and some secret spices, this salad dressing is a family favorite recipe! This is a family favorite recipe from the restaurant.

Another amazing salad dressing recipe from my grandparent’s Supper Club/Restaurant in Chicago – Murphy’s!  While it is a bit heavier than the classic Aunt’s Ruth’s Vinaigrette Salad Dressing, it has the ability to transform any salad into something you literally cannot stop eating.  While the original dressing is below, I add a few extra fresh garlic to the dressing because we’re garlic lovers over here.

This Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing Recipe Is:

What’s In Creamy Garlic Dressing?

  • Fresh Garlic, and Salad Greens/Veggies
  • Sour Cream – the base of this dressing, this sour cream gives it a silky and creamy texture.
  • Classic Mayonnaise: I like to use this classic mayo to keep this recipe plant-based, but you can use whatever mayo that you would normally use in recipes. If you don’t normally like mayo, try my homemade dairy-free version… it’s creamy but still plant based.
  • Sea Salt
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Accent Seasoning – I see Accent Seasoning come up often in my old family recipes – a great way to add a little flavor to the dish without a ton of sodium.
  • Black pepper

My refrigerator is filled with a miscellaneous assortment of salad dressings that do not do anything for my salads. I adore salads. Anytime. Anywhere. Any kind. I’ve tried so many and am disappointed every time. This one is perfect for me and delightful. As soon as I finish one batch, I’m making another. Thank you
