I love how inexpensive these sweet potato fries are to make! This recipe uses a lot of ingredients you would have in your dry pantry or cupboards – most of which you probably have on hand. Keeping a well-stocked pantry makes it easy to come up with delicious meals using a few staples you can rotate.

How Do I Make these Approved Sweet Potato Fries in the Oven?

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the cut sweet potatoes, corn starch, seasoning, and half of the oil. Toss all the ingredients well, making sure the potatoes are coated evenly in the corn starch.
  4. Line the sweet potatoes in an even row on the sheet pan.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping half way.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with a dash of salt or fresh chopped parsley, and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 sweet potatoes cut into long strips
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning we like Montreal Steak Spice best
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil

Instructions
